2015-32: Shopping Tote

Amy Butler Bag

This tote was designed to have a modern feel with the quilting being the focal point.   I used a solid fabric and then quilted with a heavy denim thread that would stand out well against the background.   The digital quilting design by Kim Diamond is based on an Amy Butler design.  The bag is lined.  It won several first prize ribbons when I entered it in the fall fairs.

2015-31: Black and White Pot Holders

2016-10-29-19-56-02

Trying to use up a pile of leftover Black and White scraps, I made these two potholders using the Quilt As You Go technique.  They were quick, simple and make for a great pot holder.

This little quilt as You go pencil case was made specifically for a class at the fall fair.  It was quick and simple to make and used up a pile of scraps!  Win-win!

2015-29: Bear Pillow

This panel was hand quilted during a road trip to Savannah Georgia.  It kept me occupied during some long stretches.  When home from the trip, I trimmed it, attached it to a machine quilted backing and stuffed with a pillow form.
