2015-11 Canada Day Table Runner

Canada Day RunnerThis table runner started off with three printed panels by Debbie Mumm.  I sashed and bordered them with a coordinating green fabric which I pulled from my stash.  Then a narrow inner border of the gold fabric was added.  The outside border picked up the red and gold from the panel.  The custom quilting sets off the runner nicely.   It makes a quick project that will be perfect for celebrating Canada’s sesquicentennial.

2015-10 Xmas Block Topper

This little table topper started with a friend’s leftover block to which I added three borders and then custom quilted with gold thread.  The quilting design by Christy Dillon is called Naysa’s feathers.  The custom quilting adds a very elegant touch.  It will make a nice hostess gift for someone special.
