2014-16 Blue Crumb Strips

This queen-sized bed quilt started with a huge pile of blue scraps!  I joined them into strips and then used the stitch and flip method to attach them to a fabric backing.  It was mindless sewing that went quite quickly.  Once I had twenty blocks made, I set them together with a wide sashing made of tone-on-tone blue fabric.  This choice brings cohesiveness to the blocks and gives the eye a place to rest.  The binding is primarily orange with multi-coloured polka dots.

The quilting is a digital design called Wild Mouse by Anne Bright.
