This tiny quilt was made from four patch blocks left over from a music themed quilt I made for my brother-in-law.
I like to keep my sewing room clean of left-overs, so I quickly assembled the blocks, used a scrap of batting and backed it with a coordinating scrap of cotton sheeting. It was quilted with a grid stitch on my domestic sewing machine. The whole project went together very quickly – less than two hours, including machine sewn binding.
I have no grandchildren yet, but someday, there will be a little girl visiting and I will be able to give this to her for her doll. It feels good to have a stash of quilts from with which I can indulge my generous impulses!
